Pre-School

Head of Pre-school

At the pre-school level, we believe that your child is at a crucial stage in his or her development because children learn more rapidly in the first seven years of life than any other time. This is why it is important that they are given every opportunity to fulfill their potential from when they take their baby steps through potty training to when they gradually begin to develop a sense of self. As teachers, we play vital roles in this process by treating them as individuals and introducing them to various activities which are designed to aid this development process.

Through our firm foundations we build strong, skilful, self-motivated pupils with an ambition to be the best they can be. Your children will learn in a positive and caring atmosphere where they will be encouraged to exceed their potential. Our secure nurturing atmosphere will enable your children to grow in confidence and understand what it is to lead safe and healthy lives.

At Karis School we are committed to an inclusive and creative curriculum that meets the needs of all learners. This is achieved with the support of a highly skilled and dedicated staff. We firmly believe in a home/school partnership and expect families to take an active role in their child’s educational development. We welcome you to Karis School to see for yourself what a warm and friendly school we are.

This allows the child to really focus on what he is feeling, through a concentration of a small part of his body.

OLFACTORY EXERCISES

In the Olfactory Exercises, the child is given a key to his smelling sense.
